The Emerald Pointe is located in the heartland of America, Iowa. The dressmaker is a mom of an Irish dancer, who loves to make these little gems. The owner/dressmaker Kelley, will help you turn your dream dress into a reality by working with you to select the design, fabric and style that suits your dancer's personality and style.

Communication

Considering the time and expense of these intricate costumes, it is very important to have good communication between the family of the dancer and the dressmaker. My preferred method of communication is email and I love to discuss ideas with you as often as necessary. No question is too little or unimportant--this is a very big decision.

Measuring for a Perfect Fit

We provide very detailed measuring instructions and will send you a mock bodice to try on just to be sure of the fit. I will rely on your measurements so if you feel more comfortable, please have another professional to do them for you if I cannot meet with you personally.

Designs

Currently, I do not create dress designs but will modify one that reflects your style. I have used several different designers and will work with you to select your design. Custom designs are also available for a truly unique work of art. Please click here for the links to several designers.

Price Range

The price range for a new off the rack custom dress starts at $1300 for a prizewinner level dress. Many factors influence the price of a dress--fabric and design are the major ones. This price inclues a catalogue/repeatable design, bloomers, crown and shipping.

How to Reserve a Spot

A deposit is required at the time of booking of $300. We will need a minimum of 8-12 weeks to complete your dress once fabrics and design have been chosen. The balance will be due when dress is completed and ready to ship. The deposit is non-refundable. Please check our home page for our next available time slot.
